Why convert EMZ to JPG?
EMZ stores GZIP-compressed vector drawing commands (Enhanced Metafile), but JPG is required by many web platforms, messaging apps, and document editors that have no EMZ support. Converting makes the graphic shareable with anyone, though the vector data is replaced by pixels and the file cannot be scaled without quality loss.
How to convert EMZ to JPG
XnView FREE
Open the .emz file in XnView via File → Open, then go to File → Save As and choose JPG. Adjust quality (80-90 is standard for diagrams) before saving.
Microsoft Office APP
In Word or PowerPoint, click Insert → Pictures → This Device and select the .emz file. Right-click the inserted image, choose Save as Picture, set the format to JPEG, and save.
LibreOffice Draw OPEN-SOURCE
Open the .emz in LibreOffice Draw, go to File → Export, choose JPEG as the format, and set the quality before confirming. If the .emz does not open directly, rename it to .emf.gz and decompress with 7-Zip first.
