Wat is het PRSX-bestandsformaat?
Een .prsx-bestand is een diavoorstelling gemaakt met Presentations, de dia-app in SoftMaker Office en in het gratis FreeOffice-pakket van SoftMaker Software GmbH. Het kan tekst, afbeeldingen, audio, video, animaties, overgangen, tabellen en vormen bevatten over een of meer dia's.
Onder de motorkap is een .prsx hetzelfde type bestand als een Presentations-document, .prdx: een ZIP-archief van XML-onderdelen en ingesloten media. Het enige verschil is een vlag die het bestand markeert als een voorstelling. Dubbelklik op een .prsx in uw bestandsbeheerder en Presentations speelt deze op volledig scherm af, en sluit vervolgens wanneer de voorstelling eindigt. Het is het antwoord van SoftMaker op het .ppsx-voorstellingsformaat van PowerPoint, bedoeld voor het overhandigen van een voltooid deck aan een andere Presentations-gebruiker.

RISICO: LOWPRSX is a document format, not an executable, so it does not run code by itself. The one thing to keep in mind is that double-clicking a .prsx starts the slide show automatically, and presentations can contain macros or embedded media; only open show files from senders you trust, as with any office document.

PRSX is a ZIP container, so it begins with the standard ZIP local file header (PK\x03\x04). This is not unique to PRSX; the format is identified by the internal XML parts and the .prsx name, not by a dedicated signature.
