Why convert PTMD to OBJ?
People want .obj to open a Polytoria model in Blender or another modeler, but .ptmd is just a .lua script renamed with a .ptmd extension, produced when exporting from Roblox. It stores block/part definitions in Polytoria's own schema rather than the vertices and faces an .obj needs.
How to convert PTMD to OBJ
Polytoria Creator FREE
Use the Model menu to import the .ptmd file, then export or save mesh parts through Creator's export options rather than expecting a direct .obj.
Blender (via exported mesh) FREE
Once a mesh part is exported from Creator to a supported format like .glb, open it in Blender and re-export as .obj with File > Export > Wavefront (.obj).

.ptmdis Lua/script data, so scripts, properties and Polytoria-specific parts have no equivalent in a plain.obj.- Only actual mesh geometry can survive the trip; primitive Polytoria blocks may not export as editable meshes.
- There is no offline converter that reads
.ptmddirectly - it must go through Polytoria Creator first.
