Why convert ODG to JPG?
ODG (OpenDocument Graphics, ISO/IEC 26300) is a vector drawing format. .JPG is the most widely accepted raster image format for email, web uploads, and embedding in documents. Converting to JPG lets you share the drawing with anyone who has no office suite installed, though at the cost of losing scalability and editability.
How to convert ODG to JPG
LibreOffice Draw FREE
Open the .odg in LibreOffice Draw, choose File > Export As > Export As, select JPEG Image, set quality (85-95 is typical) and DPI (96-150 for screen, 300 for print), and click OK.
OpenOffice.org Draw FREE
Open the .odg in Apache OpenOffice Draw and go to File > Export, choose JPEG, and set quality and resolution. The steps are identical to LibreOffice Draw; LibreOffice is the more actively maintained option.
