Why convert MDX to ISO?
MDX is a DAEMON Tools single-file disc image introduced around 2009 as a successor to the .mdf + .mds pair, and it has no native support outside Windows. ISO is the universal optical-disc image format that mounts natively on Windows 10/11, macOS, and Linux - converting gives you an image you can share, burn, or use with any tool without needing DAEMON Tools installed.
