Hva er REDDITVAULT-filformatet?
En .redditvault-fil er en kryptert sikkerhetskopi av gjenopprettingsfrasen for en Reddit Vault-lommebok. Reddit Vault er kryptolommeboken som er innebygd i Reddit-appene for Android og iOS. Den inneholdt Community Points som Moons og Bricks sammen med Collectible Avatars, som alle kjører på Arbitrum Nova Ethereum layer-2-nettverket.
Når du opprettet en Vault, genererte appen en unik 12-ords gjenopprettingsfrase i BIP-39-mnemonisk stil. Under oppsettet ble du bedt om å skrive ned frasen og lagre en sikkerhetskopi i skyen. Den sikkerhetskopien er .redditvault-filen, lastet opp til din egen Google Drive på Android eller iCloud på iOS. Inni inneholder filen .json-tekst som registrerer krypteringsmetoden og den krypterte versjonen av frasen. Selve frøordene lagres aldri i klartekst.
Sikkerhet og trygghet
RISIKO: HIGHA .redditvault file protects access to a crypto wallet. Although the recovery phrase inside is encrypted, anyone who obtains the file plus the password or cloud credentials could attempt to restore the wallet. Keep it private, never share it, and do not upload it to untrusted services. The file itself is not executable and carries no malware risk, but its contents are sensitive.
