Wat is het OTMU-bestandsformaat?
Een .otmu-bestand is een matrix-sjabloon dat wordt gebruikt door Origin, het programma voor wetenschappelijke grafieken en data-analyse van OriginLab. Het slaat het ontwerp van een matrixboek op, zodat u dezelfde configuratie kunt hergebruiken voor nieuwe gegevens. In een .otmu-bestand vindt u het aantal matrixbladen, de bladnamen, de matrixdimensies, het datatype, wiskundige functies, regels voor gegevensimport en de stijl en opmaak van het werkblad. Het slaat geen van de werkelijke matrixwaarden op.
OTMU staat voor Origin Unicode Matrix Template. Het is de UTF-8-versie van het oudere .otm matrix-sjabloon, toegevoegd in Origin 2018. Omdat het Unicode is, kan het niet-Latijnse tekens in bladnamen en opmerkingen verwerken die het legacy-formaat niet ondersteunde. Origin 2018 en later schrijven standaard .otmu terwijl ze nog steeds .otm lezen en schrijven voor achterwaartse compatibiliteit.
Beveiliging & veiligheid
RISICO: LOWOTMU is a proprietary Origin template that stores layout and formatting, not executable code. It can embed math functions and import instructions, so only open templates from sources you trust, but there is no common malware vector tied to the format.
