Che cos'è il formato di file OTMU?
Un file .otmu è un modello di libro di matrici utilizzato da Origin, il programma di analisi dei dati e grafica scientifica di OriginLab. Salva il design di un matrixbook in modo da poter riutilizzare la stessa configurazione per nuovi dati. All'interno di un file .otmu si trovano il numero di fogli di matrice (matrixsheets), i nomi dei fogli, le dimensioni della matrice, il tipo di dati, le funzioni matematiche, le regole di gestione dell'importazione dei dati e lo stile e la formattazione del foglio di lavoro. Non memorizza alcuno dei valori effettivi della matrice.
OTMU sta per Origin Unicode Matrix Template. È la versione UTF-8 del vecchio modello di matrice .otm, aggiunto in Origin 2018. Poiché è Unicode, gestisce i caratteri non latini nei nomi dei fogli e nei commenti che il formato legacy non poteva supportare. Origin 2018 e versioni successive scrivono .otmu per impostazione predefinita, pur continuando a leggere e scrivere .otm per compatibilità con le versioni precedenti.

RISCHIO: LOWOTMU is a proprietary Origin template that stores layout and formatting, not executable code. It can embed math functions and import instructions, so only open templates from sources you trust, but there is no common malware vector tied to the format.
