Wat is het HD3D-bestandsformaat?
Een .hd3d-bestand is het eigen projectformaat van Home Design 3D, een app voor interieur- en huisontwerp van Anuman Interactive (nu onderdeel van Microids). Het slaat alles op wat u in een plan bouwt: kamers, muren, deuren en ramen, plus alle meubels, decoratie en landschapsarchitectuur die u hebt toegevoegd. Open het bestand opnieuw en u gaat verder met het ontwerp precies waar u gebleven was.
Onder de motorkap is een .hd3d-bestand een .zip-archief. Het bundelt XML-bestanden die de geometrie van het plan en de coördinaten van elk geplaatst object opslaan, samen met afbeeldingsbestanden voor aangepaste texturen en voorbeeldbedieningen (thumbnails). De XML-indeling is eigendomsrechtelijk beschermd, dus alleen Home Design 3D leest de geometrie correct, ook al is de ZIP-wrapper zelf standaard.
Beveiliging & veiligheid
RISICO: LOWAn .hd3d file is a passive project document, not an executable, so opening one cannot run code. It is a ZIP container, so as with any archive a malformed file could in theory trip a bug in an unpacker, but normal projects opened in Home Design 3D carry no meaningful risk. Only open files from sources you trust.
