What to expect
- Two different formats share the
.wpsextension: Microsoft Works documents and Kingsoft WPS Office files. LibreOffice handles Microsoft Works; for Kingsoft files use WPS Office directly. - Works 8 and 9 files are internally
.docformat and convert with few issues; older Works 1-7 files use a proprietary binary layout that only the LibreOffice libwps filter reads reliably. - The resulting PDF cannot be edited back to
