Why convert VSD to DOCX?
VSD holds vector diagram pages with shapes, connectors and stencils; DOCX holds text paragraphs and embedded objects with no semantic mapping between them. The typical use case is documentation: inserting a network diagram, flowchart or floor plan from a legacy Visio file into a report or specification for Word users.
