Why convert ODG to DOC?
ODG (OpenDocument Graphics, ISO/IEC 26300, 2005) is a ZIP-based XML package storing shapes, paths, lines, and text boxes at arbitrary canvas coordinates. DOC (Microsoft Word OLE2 binary, 1997) holds flowing paragraphs with styles and page layout. Drawing geometry has no mapping to word-processor content - forcing one into the other destroys the source material.
