Why convert DXF to PDF?
PDF is the standard format for sharing drawings with people who do not have CAD software. A .pdf opens on any device without additional software, whereas a raw DXF requires a CAD viewer. Converting to PDF is the most practical way to share a drawing with clients, contractors, or reviewers.

- Scale is the most common problem: DXF stores geometry in real units (mm or inches) and you must set the plot scale manually - the software does not choose a sensible default.
- More complex drawings may have layouts (paper space) that need to be configured before printing; model space prints all geometry at once.
- The PDF output is a static snapshot of the drawing; the
.dxffile is not modified.
