Why convert DJVU to TIFF?
TIFF is a standard archival and OCR-pipeline format accepted by document management systems and OCR engines. When a workflow requires TIFF input and only a .djvu source is available, this conversion bridges the gap. For everyday sharing, converting to .pdf is usually a better route.

Open .TIFF details →Quality & what to watch
- File size grows considerably: TIFF does not use DjVu's layered compression, so the output is often many times larger than the source.
- The DjVu OCR text layer is not carried over; the
.tiffcontains only the rendered page images. - Quality is unchanged: pages are rendered at their original resolution with no lossy re-compression unless you lower the DPI explicitly.
