Wat is het IMAZINGAPP-bestandsformaat?
Een .imazingapp-bestand is een reservekopie van de gegevens van een enkele iOS-app, gemaakt door iMazing, de iPhone- en iPad-beheerder van DigiDNA. Het bevat de instellingen, opgeslagen status en documenten die zich in de sandbox van een app bevinden, zoals spelvoortgang, lokale chatgeschiedenis of voorkeuren. iMazing voegde dit formaat toe in versie 1.3, uitgebracht in september 2015, als de eerste manier om selectief de app-status op moderne iOS te back-uppen en te herstellen.
Onder de motorkap is het bestand een ZIP-archief met een hernoemde extensie. Als u het uitpakt, vindt u een Container-map met Documents, Library, voorkeursbestanden en eventuele lokale databases die de app gebruikt. Eén ding dat het nooit bevat, is de app zelf. Het binaire bestand van de applicatie zou een .ipa-bestand zijn, en die code wordt bewust weggelaten. Reservekopieën worden vernoemd naar hun bron-app, dus u krijgt bestanden zoals WhatsApp.imazingapp of Spotify.imazingapp.

RISICO: LOWThe format is a plain ZIP archive that carries app data, so it is not executable and cannot run code on its own. The main concern is privacy: an .imazingapp can contain login tokens, chat logs and other personal data, so keep the file secure and only restore backups from a source you trust.
