Why convert RPT to DOCX?
A .rpt file is a proprietary binary report definition that requires Crystal's rendering engine to produce output. Converting to .docx lets recipients edit and share the report content without Crystal Reports installed, and .docx is accepted by virtually all document management systems and email clients.

- The Viewer can only render reports with saved data embedded; if the
.rptrequires a live database connection, you need the full SAP Crystal Reports Designer.
