Why convert ODS to MDB?
ODS (OpenDocument Spreadsheet) stores flat grid data as XML inside a ZIP archive. MDB (Microsoft Access Database, Jet engine) holds typed relational tables, queries, forms, and macros - a structurally different purpose. No converter bridges the two because the result requires defining primary keys, data types, and table relationships that do not exist in the spreadsheet.

- Importing creates a single flat table; you must define primary keys, data types, and relationships inside Access afterward.
- To import multiple sheets, export each as a separate CSV and import each into Access as its own table.
- If you only need filtering or pivot analysis, staying in LibreOffice Calc or Microsoft Excel avoids the need for a relational database.
