Why convert HD3D to FBX?

.hd3d is the proprietary project format of the Home Design 3D interior-design app, storing walls, rooms and furniture as editable project data. .fbx is an Autodesk 3D interchange format for meshes, materials and animation used by tools like Blender, Maya and Unity. Home Design 3D's own support states projects can only be shared as .hd3d, so it cannot write out the geometry an FBX needs.

How to convert HD3D to FBX
