Why convert ASP to HTML?
When a web server runs an .asp file it executes the embedded VBScript or JScript and sends plain HTML to the browser. Saving that browser output captures the generated HTML as a static file. The typical use is archiving a Classic ASP page or obtaining an HTML snapshot for use without a running IIS server.
