Why convert APPX to APK?
An .appx package holds Windows PE executables compiled for x86/x64/ARM Windows, while an .apk holds Dalvik/ART bytecode packaged for Android. Bridging these requires rewriting the application itself - something only the original developer can do, not a file converter.

- Renaming an
.appxto.apkchanges only the extension; Android reads the file internals and will reject a file containing Windows executables, not Android bytecode. - No emulator or compatibility layer converts APPX packages to APK; running Windows apps on Android via tools like Wine is separate from file-format conversion.
- If the developer published an Android build it will be on Google Play; if not, no file conversion can substitute for a proper port of the application.
