Why convert AIR to IPA?
An .air file wraps a compiled SWF or HTML application with AIR-specific APIs inside a signed ZIP container. An .ipa is an Apple-signed iOS bundle built against Apple's frameworks - iOS does not include the AIR runtime and cannot execute AIR content. The HARMAN AIR SDK can produce an .ipa directly from an AIR project's source files, but a finished .air installer is not a source project and cannot substitute for one.

HARMAN AIR SDK APP
Developers with the original AIR project source can use the HARMAN AIR SDK to build an .ipa by targeting iOS in the SDK packaging step. A finished .air installer cannot substitute for the project source.
