Что такое формат файла GSLIDES?
.gslides is a shortcut file associated with the Google Drive for Desktop client, not a standalone presentation. The file is a small UTF-8 text document in JSON format - typically under 1 KB - containing the presentation's cloud URL, its Drive document ID, and the owning account's email. When double-clicked, the Google Drive client opens the link in a web browser, launching the actual presentation stored in Google's cloud. The slides, images, layouts, and animations live entirely online; the .gslides file is purely a local pointer.
Google Drive for Desktop (and its predecessor Backup and Sync) introduced these shortcut files around 2017 so synced local folders could represent cloud-native documents without storing presentation data locally. The sibling formats .gdoc, .gsheet, .gdraw, and .gform work identically. To get a portable, self-contained file, open the presentation in Google Slides and choose File → Download to export as .pptx or another format.

РИСК: LOWA .gslides is a tiny JSON text file with no executable content - opening it is safe. The real considerations are privacy and access, not malware: the file only opens the cloud presentation if you are signed into a Google account that has permission, so sharing the .gslides itself does not share the deck (you must share it inside Google Drive). Treat the embedded URL like any link; do not assume a .gslides gives offline access to anything.
