Wat is het FJ-bestandsformaat?
Een .fj-bestand bevat broncode voor FlipJump, een esoterische programmeertaal met één instructie, gecreëerd door Tom Herman (tomhea) rond 2021. FlipJump is een „One Instruction Set Computer”, of OISC. De enige instructie heeft de vorm a;b, die de bit op adres a omkeert (flipt) en vervolgens naar adres b springt. Die ene bewerking is voldoende om de taal Turing-compleet te maken.
Een .fj-bestand is platte tekst. Naast ruwe a;b-instructies kan het constanten bevatten zoals x = 6;, labels, geparametriseerde macro's, rep(n, i)-herhalingen, namespaces en expressies die tijdens het assembleren worden berekend. Het project wordt geleverd met een standaardbibliotheek die is onderverdeeld in de namespaces bit, hex en stl met macro's voor invoer, uitvoer, wiskunde en control flow. Commentaar begint met //.
Beveiliging & veiligheid
RISICO: LOWA .fj file is plain-text source code and cannot run on its own; it only executes when assembled and run by the FlipJump interpreter. There are no macros that touch the host OS and no embedded binaries, so opening one in an editor is safe. As with any source code, only assemble and run files from sources you trust.
