Che cos'è il formato di file GAMBL?
Un file .gambl è un progetto creato da Vernier Graphical Analysis, l'app per la raccolta dati e la creazione di grafici utilizzata nei laboratori scientifici di scuole e università. Memorizza uno o più set di dati registrati organizzati in tabelle e grafici, insieme alle impostazioni di visualizzazione del grafico, agli adattamenti delle curve (curve fits) e ai dettagli di calibrazione per i sensori che hanno prodotto le letture. I progetti realizzati in Graphical Analysis Pro possono includere anche video per l'analisi del movimento.
GAMBL è l'estensione di progetto per Graphical Analysis e Graphical Analysis Pro versione 5.0 e successive, introdotta intorno al 2018. Ha sostituito la vecchia estensione .ambl utilizzata dalla versione 4.x, e il passaggio ha accompagnato l'introduzione delle funzioni video dell'app. Sotto il cofano, un file .gambl è un documento di testo XML, quindi i suoi contenuti sono leggibili in qualsiasi editor anche se l'app li presenta in modo molto più chiaro.

RISCHIO: LOWA .gambl file is plain XML holding experiment data and graph settings, with no scripting or macro capability, so opening one carries little risk. Only open files from sources you trust, and be aware that browsers may display the XML as raw text; use Save Link As to download it correctly.
