Convert XLAM to XLSX

Can you convert XLAM to XLSX?
QUICK ANSWER
Is it possible to convert XLAM to XLSX?
No - not a direct conversion.

XLSX cannot hold macros, so saving an XLAM as XLSX strips out the VBA - the entire purpose of the add-in. Only do this if you specifically want the (usually empty) data sheets without the code. Use XLSM to keep macros.
