Why convert MSF to MBOX?
An .msf (Mail Summary File) is a Thunderbird-generated index written in Mozilla's Mork format, storing per-message metadata - sender, subject, date, read/unread status - so Thunderbird can render folder views quickly without re-reading every message. The message bodies and attachments live in the same-named extension-less file (INBOX, Sent, etc.), which is already a valid mbox file. Running any converter on the .msf finds no email content and produces nothing useful.
