Why convert LOCKER to ZIP?
A .locker is an encrypted NordLocker vault that only its app can open, whereas a .zip is a universally readable archive you can email or upload anywhere. Converting lets you bundle and share the files without NordLocker installed, at the cost of the encryption.
How to convert LOCKER to ZIP
NordLocker + Windows File Explorer EASIEST
Right-click the files in NordLocker and choose Export decrypted copy, then select them in Explorer, right-click and pick Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder to make a .zip.
NordLocker + macOS Finder FREE
Export the decrypted files, then in Finder select them, right-click and choose Compress to create a .zip archive.
NordLocker + 7-Zip OPEN-SOURCE
After exporting, select the files, right-click 7-Zip > Add to archive and set Archive format to zip (optionally add a password for AES-256).
