Che cos'è il formato di file OTPU?
Un file .otpu è un modello di grafico creato da Origin di OriginLab, il software di analisi dati e grafica utilizzato in ambito scientifico e ingegneristico. Il nome sta per Origin Unicode Graph Template. È stato introdotto con Origin 2018 come versione Unicode (UTF-8) del vecchio modello .otp, parte di una famiglia di formati con suffisso u che include anche .opju e .oggu.
Un modello memorizza l'aspetto di un grafico, non i numeri che lo generano. All'interno di un file .otpu si trovano le dimensioni della pagina e il numero di livelli, i tipi di tracciamento e i colori, le etichette dei dati, le impostazioni degli assi, i segni di graduazione e le etichette degli assi, le annotazioni di testo, i predefiniti per «Long Name» e «Short Name» e un'immagine di anteprima. Può anche contenere informazioni sui modelli clonabili e script LabTalk che vengono eseguiti durante il tracciamento. Poiché i dati rimangono separati, è possibile puntare lo stesso modello a un nuovo set di dati e ottenere ogni volta una figura identica.
