Qu'est-ce que le format de fichier LRLIBRARY ?
Un fichier .lrlibrary est la bibliothèque locale utilisée par la version basée sur le cloud d'Adobe Lightroom, l'application de bureau qu'Adobe distribue désormais simplement sous le nom de Lightroom (anciennement Lightroom CC), distincte de Lightroom Classic. Elle est apparue avec l'écosystème cloud de Lightroom en 2017.
Malgré l'extension, il ne s'agit pas d'un fichier unique. Sur macOS, c'est un paquet ; sur Windows, c'est un dossier ordinaire. Lightroom le crée automatiquement lors de l'installation et le nomme Lightroom Library.lrlibrary dans votre dossier Images. À l'intérieur se trouve un sous-dossier au nom alphanumérique long contenant un dossier originals de photos importées dans des sous-dossiers datés, un ou plusieurs fichiers de catalogue .mcat, des bases de données auxiliaires, un cache, ainsi que des journaux de migration et de modification. Les bases de données du catalogue sont au format SQLite.
Comme cette version de Lightroom conserve vos photos dans le cloud, le fichier .lrlibrary sert principalement de cache local et de stockage de travail plutôt que de registre principal. C'est la différence majeure avec le catalogue .lrcat de Lightroom Classic, qui est la base de données principale.
Sécurité et sûreté
RISQUE : LOWThe .lrlibrary is a local data package created by Adobe Lightroom and carries no executable code, so it is not a malware vector by itself. The main practical risk is disk usage, since it can grow to many gigabytes as originals are cached locally. Deleting it is safe only if your photos are fully synced to Adobe's cloud or if you no longer use the cloud-based Lightroom; deleting it while unsynced originals remain can lose those images.
