Qu'est-ce que le format de fichier LOCKER ?
Un fichier .locker est une archive chiffrée créée par NordLocker, l'application de chiffrement de fichiers de Nord Security, la société derrière NordVPN. L'application a été lancée en novembre 2019. Chaque fichier .locker est un conteneur qui contient un ou plusieurs fichiers et dossiers que vous avez ajoutés à un coffre-fort, tous scellés ensemble sous forme de données chiffrées.
NordLocker chiffre tout sur votre appareil avant même que cela ne le quitte, une approche que l'entreprise appelle le chiffrement « zero-knowledge » (connaissance zéro). Sous le capot, il combine l'AES-256 avec le chiffrement XChaCha20-Poly1305, génère des clés avec Libsodium et dérive votre clé secrète de votre mot de passe maître à l'aide de la fonction Argon2. Le résultat est un fichier qui ressemble à des octets aléatoires pour quiconque ne possède pas le mot de passe.
Sécurité et sûreté
RISQUE : LOWA .locker file is encrypted data and does not run code on its own, so the file itself is safe to store or move. The real risk is losing access: without the correct master password the contents cannot be recovered, since NordLocker uses zero-knowledge encryption and cannot reset it for you. Only install NordLocker from nordlocker.com to avoid fake or tampered clients.
