¿Qué es el formato de archivo EXPRESS?
Un archivo .express es una presentación realizada con BlackBerry Express, una aplicación de autoría de diapositivas para teléfonos BlackBerry 10. BlackBerry Sweden desarrolló la aplicación y la lanzó como una beta gratuita en BlackBerry World en noviembre de 2013, actualizándola a la versión 1.0.1.16 en diciembre de ese año. La idea era permitir que alguien armara una presentación en un teléfono en cuestión de minutos, organizando el contenido en capítulos, secciones, viñetas y texto, para luego presentarla en el dispositivo o en una pantalla externa mediante HDMI.
A pesar de la extensión, un archivo .express no es un binario propietario. Es un archivo .tar bajo un nombre diferente. Seguridad y protección
RIESGO: LOWAn .express file is a passive TAR archive of images and JSON text, so it does not execute code. The main risk is practical rather than security-related: the app that created it is discontinued, so opening one now means extracting its parts manually. As with any archive from an unknown source, scan it before unpacking, since a TAR container could in principle hold unexpected files.
