Why convert WFP to MOV?
WFP is instrument and patch data for Turtle Beach's WaveFront wavetable synthesis chip, used in mid-1990s sound cards such as the Maui, Tropez, Rio, and Monterey. It contains synthesizer programming, not an audio or video stream. A .mov container holds video and audio tracks, and a WFP file provides neither.
How to convert WFP to MOV
Awave Studio APP
Open the .wfp in Awave Studio - the only actively maintained tool that reads WaveFront files - and export the instrument samples as WAV or as SoundFont (.sf2) for use in a modern DAW.
