Why convert VNT to VCF?
VNT and VCF both descend from the IrMC mobile standard and share the same BEGIN:/END: wrapper syntax, which makes them look similar in a text editor. The difference is in the data: a vNote (BEGIN:VNOTE) carries a memo body, while a vCard (BEGIN:VCARD) carries structured contact fields. No tool can create a meaningful contact record from note text - any that claims to do so would produce an empty or fabricated vCard.

Notepad++ FREE
Open the .vnt in Notepad++, delete the BEGIN:VNOTE and END:VNOTE wrapper lines, decode the body with Plugins > MIME Tools > Quoted-Printable Decode, and save as .txt - the only meaningful conversion for a vNote.

- Any tool claiming to convert VNT to VCF would either produce an empty vCard or fabricate contact data not present in the source file.
- The realistic alternative is converting the
.vntto plain.txt, which preserves the actual note content. - VNT and VCF files may appear in the same phone backup folder because both originate from the same device, but they store completely different types of data.
