Why convert OBJECTION to JSON?
The .objection format from objection.lol's Objection Maker stores a project's frames as JSON and then base64-encodes it so it is not human-readable. Anyone wanting to edit scenes in a script, diff versions, or feed dialogue into another tool needs the raw .json, which is one decode step away.
How to convert OBJECTION to JSON
objection.py OPEN-SOURCE
Use the Python library objection.py to load an objection project and work with its structured data, then dump it with json.dumps(...).
Command line with base64
Run base64 -d file.objection > scene.json (or the Windows certutil -decode) to write the decoded JSON straight to disk.

- The decoded JSON uses objection.lol's internal field names, so it is readable but not documented.
- Character sprites, sounds and music are referenced by ID, not embedded, so the JSON is data-only, not a full copy of the assets.
- Re-importing edited JSON requires re-encoding it back to base64 in the exact same wrapper the site expects.
