Why convert FETCHMIRROR to XML?
A .fetchmirror file holds a Mirror window's settings in Apple's property-list format. Exporting it to .xml makes those keys and values human-readable and editable outside Fetch, which is useful for inspection or version control.

plutil -convert xml1 EASIEST
In Terminal run plutil -convert xml1 -o sync.xml sync.fetchmirror. This writes an XML property list without touching the original file.
