Why convert CPDX to CPTX?
Captivate Draft was the mobile storyboarding companion to desktop Captivate, so .cpdx files are meant to graduate into a real .cptx project where you add quizzing, interactions, and publishing. The two share the same authoring family, which makes the import native rather than a third-party conversion.

- Captivate Draft was discontinued in July 2019, so you need an existing
.cpdxand a copy of Captivate 9+ to do the import. - Only storyboard content transfers - slides, text, drawn objects, and embedded media; quizzes and interactions must be authored in Captivate.
- Very old or newest Captivate releases may handle Draft import differently; keep a backup of the
.cpdxbefore importing.
