Convert CAMREC to TREC

Can you convert CAMREC to TREC?
QUICK ANSWER
Is it possible to convert CAMREC to TREC?
No - not a direct conversion.

TREC is the successor recording format (MPEG-4 based) but CAMREC cannot be converted to TREC - TechSmith explicitly states this. The only path forward is to produce the .camrec to video (MP4/AVI) in Camtasia 2019, not to TREC.

No direct path
