Возможно ли конвертировать ZI в Z02?
Нет - нет прямой конвертации.

A .zi file is a ZIP archive with a renamed extension; a .z02 is the second volume of a split ZIP set, not a format you convert into. If you genuinely need a split archive, rename .zi to .zip, extract the contents, and create a new split archive from those files.

Зачем конвертировать ZI в Z02?

A .zi file is a standard ZIP archive whose extension was changed; the bytes start with the PK signature of a normal ZIP. A .z02 is a raw volume fragment of a larger split ZIP spread across multiple files (.z01, .z02, ... .zip) and has no independent meaning. Producing a .z02 from a .zi would mean splitting an archive into size-limited parts - a packaging step, not a format conversion.

Способы конвертации ZI в Z02

WinZip APP

Rename the .zi file to .zip and open it in WinZip to extract the contents; use WinZip's split-archive feature only if size-limited storage genuinely requires it.

WinRAR APP

Open the .zi file in WinRAR, which detects the ZIP header regardless of extension, extract the contents, then use WinRAR to create a new split archive if actually needed.

Качество и на что обратить внимание

  • A .z02 file is a fragment of a split ZIP set and cannot be opened independently without all other volumes (.z01, .zip, etc.).
  • Rename .zi to .zip to confirm the file is a valid ZIP - it should open in any extraction tool if the first two bytes read PK (hex 50 4B).
  • Split archives are harder to manage than a single file; most modern file hosts accept single large ZIP archives without issue.

Часто задаваемые вопросы

Can any tool convert ZI to Z02 meaningfully?
No - any site claiming to do this misrepresents what the two extensions are; no real conversion exists.
My file is named .z02 - how do I open it?
You need all parts of the split set (.z01, .z02, and the final .zip); place them in the same folder and open the .zip part with WinZip or WinRAR.
Why do format databases list ZI to Z02 as a conversion?
Both extensions relate to the ZIP family, so they are paired automatically in databases without checking whether the operation makes any practical sense.
