- LibreOffice Draw's VSD support is partial on complex diagrams; grouped shapes, custom stencils, and some connector styles may not render exactly as in Visio - Microsoft Visio produces cleaner SVG for stencil-heavy files.
- Multi-page VSD files export one page at a time in both LibreOffice Draw and Microsoft Visio.
- Visio-specific features such as hyperlinks on shapes, cross-page references, and embedded metadata do not carry over to SVG.
