Open the .rpt in SAP Crystal Reports Viewer (free), go to File > Export, and select Comma Separated Values (CSV). If the .rpt was not saved with embedded data, the Viewer needs a live connection to the original database, or you need the full Crystal Reports Designer.

A .rpt file stores a report layout and database connection, not a flat data file. Exporting to .csv strips the layout and gives you raw data rows that can be loaded into Excel, a database, or any analytics tool without Crystal Reports installed.

Качество и на что обратить внимание

  • No generic converter reads a binary .rpt without Crystal's engine; every export path relies on SAP's own Viewer or Designer.
  • If the .rpt was saved without embedded data, the export will fail or produce an empty file without database credentials.
  • SAP Crystal Reports has no native macOS or Linux build; on those platforms, ask the file's author to export the CSV directly.
