Конвертировать ASP в PDF

БЫСТРЫЙ ОТВЕТ
Возможно ли конвертировать ASP в PDF?
Да - ASP конвертируется в PDF.

If a website saved a download as .asp instead of a PDF, rename it to .pdf and open it in any PDF reader - the PDF data inside is intact. To capture a live ASP page as PDF, open it in Chrome or Edge, press Ctrl+P, and select Save as PDF.

Зачем конвертировать ASP в PDF?

Classic ASP is a server-side scripting language; the .asp file itself is not a document. Older web portals serve invoices, receipts, or reports through an ASP handler, and when the server omits the correct Content-Type header the browser saves the file with the URL's .asp extension instead of .PDF. The underlying bytes are already a valid PDF.

Качество и на что обратить внимание

  • Renaming does not re-encode the file; the renamed .pdf is byte-for-byte identical to the downloaded .asp - no data is changed.
  • If the renamed .pdf will not open, open the file in a text editor: if you see HTML or a server error, the download was broken - return to the site and re-download using the correct link.
  • A genuine .asp source file is server-side VBScript/JScript code and contains no document data; it cannot be converted to PDF offline.

Часто задаваемые вопросы

What if the renamed .pdf file will not open?
Open it in a text editor; if you see HTML or an error message, the server did not send a PDF - go back to the website and use the correct download link.
Can I convert a .asp source file to PDF locally?
No - an .asp file is server-side code that only produces output when executed by an IIS web server; there is nothing to convert locally.
How do I save an ASP page as PDF on macOS?
Open the page in Safari or Chrome, press Cmd+P, click the PDF dropdown in the lower-left of the print dialog, and choose Save as PDF.
