¿Qué es el formato de archivo ELP?
Un archivo .elp es un proyecto creado con eXeLearning, el editor XHTML de eLearning. eXeLearning es una herramienta de autoría de código abierto que permite a los docentes crear lecciones interactivas basadas en la web sin necesidad de escribir código a mano. El proyecto comenzó bajo la Comisión de Educación Terciaria de Nueva Zelanda alrededor de 2004 y fue modernizado posteriormente por el INTEF de España y una comunidad más amplia.
A pesar de la extensión .elp, el archivo es un archivo comprimido ZIP. En su interior debe contener al menos tres elementos: content.data, content.xsd y contentv3.xml, junto con cualquier imagen, audio o video colocado en la lección. Debido a que es un ZIP, puede cambiarle el nombre a .zip y descomprimirlo para inspeccionar sus partes.
Lo fundamental que debe entender es que un .elp es un archivo fuente editable, no una página terminada. Un alumno no puede hacer doble clic en él para ver el material; el proyecto tiene que abrirse en el editor o exportarse primero.
Seguridad y protección
RIESGO: LOWAn .elp is a data/project file, not an executable, so opening it does not run code. Because it is a ZIP that can embed HTML, JavaScript and media, only open files from trusted sources, and extract with tools that guard against ZIP path-traversal. Legacy eXe versions are unmaintained, so prefer current eXeLearning builds for security patches.
