Чего ожидать
- No quality loss: the re-wrap copies video and audio packets without decoding them, so the output is identical to the source.
- DVB extras such as teletext, DVB subtitles, and EPG data embedded in the original broadcast recording may be dropped by Blu-ray authoring tools.
- HD recordings typically run 1-15 GB; confirm your destination drive has enough free space before converting.
Часто задаваемые вопросы
Does converting TRP to M2TS re-encode the video?
No - both tsMuxeR and ffmpeg perform a container re-wrap with stream copy, so video and audio data are never decoded or re-encoded and quality is unchanged.
Why does Blu-ray authoring software require M2TS instead of TRP?
The Blu-ray spec requires 192-byte packets with per-packet timecodes; standard
.trp files use 188-byte packets without those timecodes, so authoring tools reject them.My converted M2TS has no audio or the audio is out of sync - what should I try?
Multiple audio PIDs in the source are a common cause; select a specific track with
ffmpeg -i input.trp -map 0:a:0 -c copy output.m2ts.Can I convert a TRP file to MP4 instead?
Yes - if your goal is playback or sharing rather than Blu-ray authoring,
ffmpeg -i input.trp -c copy output.mp4 produces a more universally compatible file.Программы, которые конвертируют TRP: SUPER · Wondershare Video Converter for Mac · iSkysoft Video Converter for Mac
