Чего ожидать
- Basic formatting - fonts, bold, italic, paragraphs, and tables - transfers well; complex layout features or custom OpenOffice.org-specific styles may be simplified or lost.
- RTF is not a modern archival format; if you need Word compatibility,
DOCXis more reliable, andODTis the better open-standard choice for long-term storage. - SXW files may contain StarBasic macros - LibreOffice disables them by default, so do not enable macros from untrusted files.
Часто задаваемые вопросы
Can I convert SXW to RTF without installing software?
Yes - use the free converter on this page; your file is deleted after conversion.
Will the formatting look right after conversion?
Basic formatting such as fonts, bold, italic, and tables transfers well. Complex layout elements from the old OpenOffice.org 1.x format may not survive - always check the result before sending it on.
Is RTF a good format for long-term storage?
Not ideal. For archiving,
ODT is the better open-standard choice; for sharing with Microsoft Office users, DOCX preserves more formatting than RTF.My SXW file is from 2003 - will LibreOffice still open it?
Yes. LibreOffice maintains full support for the legacy OpenOffice.org 1.x XML format, so files from 2002-2005 open correctly in current versions.
