Чего ожидать
- ICO files store small raster images - typically 16 to 256 px square. JP2 files from archives or geospatial sources are often very large, so resizing is mandatory and fine detail will be lost at icon scale.
- IrfanView cannot open
JP2files without its separate PlugIns pack - install it from irfanview.com alongside the main app. - If the source
JP2has an alpha channel, choose 32-bit color depth when exporting toICO; lower bit depths drop transparency and replace it with a solid color.
Часто задаваемые вопросы
Can I create a multi-size ICO from a JP2?
Yes - ImageMagick supports this with the
-define icon:auto-resize flag, which packs multiple resolutions such as 256, 48, 32, and 16 px into a single ICO file. Why won't IrfanView open my JP2 file?
IrfanView needs its PlugIns pack for JPEG 2000 support - download it from irfanview.com and install it alongside the main application.
Does the conversion preserve transparency?
Only if you export at 32-bit color depth; lower settings drop the alpha channel and replace transparent areas with a solid color.
What size should I use when converting to ICO?
Standard icon sizes are 16×16, 32×32, 48×48, and 256×256 px - resize your
JP2 to one of these dimensions before or during export.Программы, которые конвертируют JP2: GIMP · XnView · FastPictureViewer Professional · Adobe Photoshop · ACDSee Photo Manager · FastStone Image Viewer · GIMP for Mac · Preview
