Конвертировать IMG в BIN

БЫСТРЫЙ ОТВЕТ
Возможно ли конвертировать IMG в BIN?
Да - IMG конвертируется в BIN.

Open your .img in AnyBurn (free), choose BIN/CUE as the output format, and click Convert Now; a .bin data file and a matching .cue sheet are written to the same folder. Keep both files together - a .bin without its .cue is often unreadable.

Зачем конвертировать IMG в BIN?

BIN/CUE is an older format still required by some CD emulators (Mednafen, DuckStation) and disc-burning tools that refuse .img files. The .cue sheet generated during conversion describes track layout, offsets, and types for mixed-mode discs, which the emulator or burner needs to interpret the raw track data in the .bin.

Качество и на что обратить внимание

  • The conversion produces a two-file pair: a .bin holding raw track data and a .cue describing track numbers, types, and offsets - both files must stay in the same folder.
  • This conversion applies only to optical disc images (CD/DVD); .img files from floppies, USB sticks, or hard-drive partitions cannot be meaningfully converted to BIN/CUE.
  • If the goal is emulator compatibility, check first whether your emulator accepts .iso - many modern emulators do, making BIN/CUE unnecessary.

Часто задаваемые вопросы

Do I need both the .bin and .cue files?
Yes - the .cue tells emulators and burning tools where each track starts and what type it is; without it the .bin is often unreadable.
Does the conversion work for mixed-mode CDs with audio and data tracks?
Yes; the .cue file lists each track type (data/audio) and its offset, which is essential for mixed-mode discs.
Why is BIN/CUE still used?
It dates from the mid-1990s CDRWIN era and remains common in retro gaming and disc archival contexts where older emulators require it.
Can I convert back from BIN/CUE to IMG?
Yes - AnyBurn and PowerISO both handle the round-trip in the same Convert tool.
