Por que converter PRT para SLDPRT?
Both Creo and SolidWorks store a parametric feature tree - the full construction history of sketches, extrudes, and fillets that built the part. Creo uses PTC's proprietary kernel while SolidWorks uses Parasolid; the two are structurally incompatible and no tool can remap one feature tree into the other. Note that Siemens NX also saves parts as .prt using Parasolid - the same kernel SolidWorks runs on - so an NX .prt can sometimes open in SolidWorks, but a Creo .prt cannot.
Como converter PRT para SLDPRT
SolidWorks APP
Export the Creo .prt to STEP first using PTC Creo, CAD Assistant, or Autodesk Fusion 360, then open the .step file in SolidWorks via File > Open to get an editable solid body.
CrossManager APP
Use CrossManager to translate the Creo .prt through a neutral format that SolidWorks can open, bypassing the need for a Creo license in the translation step.

- The only viable path is through a neutral format such as STEP or IGES - all geometry transfers accurately, but the parametric feature tree does not survive.
- SolidWorks can open Siemens NX
.prtfiles (which use Parasolid) but cannot open Creo.prtfiles (which use PTC's own kernel) - these are different formats sharing the same extension. - The resulting SolidWorks solid body can be measured, sectioned, and referenced, but cannot be edited by changing Creo sketch dimensions.
Perguntas frequentes
Can SolidWorks open a Creo .prt file directly?
Will the feature history survive through STEP?
Why can some .prt files open in SolidWorks but not mine?
.prt files because NX uses the Parasolid kernel; Creo .prt files use PTC's own kernel and are not compatible.Do I need a Creo license to export to STEP?
.prt files and export STEP for import into SolidWorks.
