Wat is Eclipse?
Eclipse is the development environment (IDE) that is used to create applications and programs in Java. This software supports plug-ins that extend functionality of the program and support the following languages: JavaScript, ActionScript 2, C, C++ and PHP. Eclipse has rich access to libraries, the possibility of error verification, as well as an option of syntax highlighting.
The basic tools of this program are: Web Tools Platform Project (creates web services and applications), C/C++ Development Tooling (develops applications in C/C++), Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (code generator), and Graphical Editing Framework (responsible for graphical interface creation).
