What is IDLK file?

Files with the extension .IDLK are known as Adobe InDesign Lock files. They are used to create a lock when opening files in InDesign, usually projects with the extension .INDD. Their primary function is to protect against simultaneous editing access to the same files by more than one user. They are created and deleted automatically by the software.

Using IDLK files in Adobe InDesign
